It offers information services for all operations that concern Pathological Anatomy and for all kinds of tests.
It's a powerful and configurable system, adaptable to small and big laboratories.
System's description:
The PATHWIN program allows a sizing of hardware resources personalized to department's requirements.
It can be used beginning from a least configuration for one user's use, with only one PC, Microsoft Windows and printer, or for more users' use on network configuration with more connected Personal Computer and shared data which are saved on a file Server with Network Operating System Novell Netware or Microsoft Windows NT.
The program is coded on C++, with all main functions which are modulated by tables that user can modify.
Relational Data Base system's files are compatible with Microsoft FoxPro format.
This allows on line consultation or migration from or toward other environments.
Standard coding accomplishes SNOMED 3.0 recommendation.
Users are helped in each diagnostic phase with possibility to browse standard coding tables.
They can also employ pre-defined codifies and texts; the effort of memorization of the codified data is very low, but precision of memorized codes is very high.
